Anguilla is a tiny, 35 sq mile long Brittish dependant territory and is the northern most of the Leeward islands. With an average temperature of about 80 degrees (26 C), it's sunny yet breezy skies and a healthy 35 inches of annual rainfall, Anguilla is a gorgeous place to live. That is, as long as you don't mind driving on the left and swirving around free roaming goats and chickens.
The Anguillian government realized early on that protecting this small paradise would be more benefi$ial in the long run, so there are no corporate chains here, which means intimate small resorts, 5-star restaurants in colorful villas, no fast food and tiny Mom'n Pop grocery stores. Tourism exists but is geared toward the high-end minority and that, coupled with a great set of people attracts tons of celebrities to the island on a regular basis.
